I enjoy using acrylics quite a lot but have been experimenting with water colours the last few months.
I sketch in charcoal.
Collage is also a part of what I am about.
I do believe I am finding my way with materials
Painting for me only started when I retired from paid work. I was a career bank employee which is not very creative. So I was 60 when I started painting and had some time painting at Tosari Gallery with Diane Elsden. I am a member of TAS and enjoy painting there on Tuesdays as well as attending workshops to help improve my style. I have done quite well exhibiting at TAS ,Hampton. and also have sold at these Galleries. My first year at Hampton I sold to Hayden Quinn who was the celebrity chef there.
I am not a past student of Downlands but have gone through the Catholic education system in Brisbane.
I am influenced and inspired by life in general. My grandchildren do inspire me and I do so love painting my flowers that I grow.
